Senior Software Development Manager -- Atlanta GA

Ideal candidate has experience in desktop and cloud based solutions, can manage multiple teams and provide senior leadership clear visibility, both written and verbal, into yearly goals throughout the bi-weekly sprint schedules for multiple products

This is a management job that includes people management, software product lifecycle management, new product and existing portfolio management

Medical software background is a plus

  • Tech stack
    • Javascript, TypeScript, HTML, Blueprint, C#, .NET, ODATA, SQL, Azure, REST, HTTP/S, Jenkins, GIT, Active Directory
    • Expertise in Install Shield, C++, Power Builder a plus
  • Develop and manage multiple high performing software development teams consisting of multiple products
  • Guide, coach and mentor software development engineers to drive company goals
  • Provide project management (R&D plans that feed the commercialization process) and technical leadership for every aspect of software (Architectural, best practices and adopting new technologies)
  • Prepare lifecycle for different products inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management
  • Supervise architecture plus lead efforts to develop technical roadmap of all products
  • Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high quality software
  • Engage closely with Engineers, Developers and Product Management throughout the organization to influence product changes
  • Develop relations with existing internal customers to interpret all individual requirements
  • Learn and displays how products would add value to respective markets
  • Ensure top quality design reviews attaining business goals
  • Supervise resource allocation to assure attainment of business and personnel development goals
  • Be heavily involved in strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business goals with leadership team
  • Own software development projects from beginning to finish
  • Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules plus supervise project status and clear communications to leadership about status / change
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings to ensure alignment around the goals of the project
